Adult Small Group

Study of Scripture related to today's issues; meets at the church at 9:30am.

Small Groups

In these groups, a few people get together at the time of their choosing to study, share, and grow together in Christ.  Join a group in progress or one that is just starting. The small group ministry is coordinated by Larry and Lana Blandin.

Children's Power Hour

Children's Power Hour provides Sunday school classes for children from kindergarten through 2nd grade and 3rd grade through 5th grade.  Power Hour kids study the same material as Children's Church, using different activities and projects.  Children are currently studying the "Fruit of the Spirit," using stories, discussion, crafts, music and games to learn about love, goodness, self-control and the other fruits of the spirit.

Worship Service

Our Sunday worship service features a mix of contemporary and traditional hymns.  Sermons focus on how Scripture provides answers to today's problems.  On the first Sunday of the month, we share the Lord's supper.  The first Sunday of the month is also "Change Sunday" - all change in the collection plate goes to missions.  A nursery is provided and Children's Church is provided downstairs during the sermon time.  "Kid's kits," small tote bags packed with paper, crayons and books, are available for use by younger children during the service.

Music

The choir and musicians provide special musical presentations and cantatas throughout the year.

Nursery

A nursery is provided during the service.

Children's Church

Crafts, games, and Scripture study held during the service (children stay with parents at the beginning of the worship service, then go to the meeting room).  Children's Church reinforces the lessons being learned the Children's Power Hour with different games, fun activities, and projects.

CLASS 101

Four-part series of Christian Life and Service Seminars. CLASS 101 discusses “who” we are, “why” we are, and the importance of church membership. The other three parts are CLASS 201, Spiritual Maturity; CLASS 301, Discovering My Ministry; and CLASS 401, Discovering Your Life Ministry.

J. C. Power Team

The "J. C. Power Team" mixes food, fun and Bible study on the first and third Wednesday of the month, from 6pm to 8:30pm.  The new group welcomes young people in 9th though 12th grade to meet for dinner (usually pizza or something like that), conversation about Scripture, and a variety of activities.  Leader Drew Brickson explains, "Each outing will begin with food and fellowship followed by an activity designed to build confidence, teamwork and trust among the group members - while always having a foundation based upon the scriptures."  Laser Tag was featured at the first meeting on August 17th, following the teen power dinner and conversation about the Armor of God.  If you're a teen looking for something to do on a Wednesday night, meet your friends at the church for fun, fellowship and a better way.

AWANA

AWANA is a non-denominational club providing Scriptural training for young people.  Programs include the Cubbies (ages 3-4), Sparks (kindegraten, 1st and 2nd-grades, co-educational), and Truth and Training (grades 3-6).  Starting Sept. 11th, AWANA meets Sunday at 5:30 p.m.  This year, AWANA will have a JV section for older kids (7th and 8th grade).
